Specifically, email marketing remains a highly effective way to stay in front of your prospects and clients, while mobile marketing continues to grow in importance.

A recent study by eMarketer.com, a leader in digital media research and analysis, validates that email marketing is still a great means to build image and awareness. Central to its success is the fact that most consumers are highly active users.

The advent and increasing use of smart phones has fueled both the growth and success of mobile marketing, particularly for B-to-C businesses. The landscape continues to evolve, however, as detailed in a recent Forrester study.

And, as is true with all online marketing, each method improves the results of the other forms. For instance, consumers check their email, engage in social media, and search more frequently due to mobile devices.
